Honeypot vs Strip @ Wheelock

Honeypot boom!

Finally tried out honeypot brazillian wax and it boom badly. The wax therapist was friendly, but she was inexperience. She was rather abrupt when she just started doing it, and when she talks to me, I could not understand her at times.  I can feel that when she pulls the wax, she did not do a good job of pulling. Then she has to go and use tweezers which is sharp and it pokes.  After the thing ends, the areas that was waxed was flaming red and full of red dots which did not happen when I did it at Strip (Wheelock).

How do I put it, the overall experience would just score a 4/10 while the one at strip would score a 8/10. The professionalism of the therapist at Strip is so much better. At strip you would even get a wipe to clean first while honeypot just ask you to go to the toilet. The staff though friendly at honeypot are however not skilled enough. Maybe it was just that therapist but trust me I doubt I would ever visit there again.

In Strip, they make you feel comfortable, the room is comfortable with funny comments on the ceiling to distract you and everything is just tastefully done while in Honeypot, she just start doing, and talking in English which I can’t really understand.

It was totally clean, after the experience in Strip but after my session in Honeypot, not everything was off. -_-“

And as for price wise even though for Strip it is slightly more expensive at $76, I would gladly pay for that then to pay $63 for the not so sweet honeypot experience.

Fiberwig Mascara

July 14, 2008 joieiL Leave a comment

I’ve bought déjà vu fiberwig mascara from Sasa and it was really good. It lengthens real well and doesn’t clamp my eyelashes together, which I faced when I used other brands. It also washes off easily which is another plus point. It’s even better then Majolica Majorca Mascara despite the rave I’ve heard from others. The only thing I like about Majolica Majorca is the bottle, other than that, nothing much. I also like Maybelline mascara which lengthens and gives off volume without smudging. I realize that no matter how good the mascara is, as long it’s not waterproof, I can’t use it. It will smudge too damn easily. I have to dump my Benefit Badgal Mascara.

I also currently love my new Sana eyelash curler. It curls my short eyelash better than my other eyelash curlers, which I’ve already throw them away. It’s affordable too, less than 10bucks.

Am fucking pissed off with my sister, I did not offend you or anything yet you have to show me some fucking bad attitude. What the fuck is this? Yet in front of others act cute and weak? People asked me where you are or are you feeling unwell, well, I’m not the worm in your stomach or your keeper. She’s already a fucking adult yet everybody treat her like a fucking baby. It may sounds like sour grapes but it’s not, I’m just fucking pissed off. Showing me attitude when I did not even offend you makes no sense. If you say you are pmsing, then why show others the “I’m such an angel” characteristic yet to me another side? What is this? Acting in front of me or others?

Hancock’s ost is damn good, esp those orchestral pieces. I find it better than the show itself. I want the ost!!

Hancock ost is good

July 13, 2008 joieiL Leave a comment

After dinner with deer’s relatives at woodlands, we head down to The Cathy to watch Hancock. The music arrangement for the Hancock was quite good, in fact much better than the show itself. The show was quite a disappointment but nevertheless still an all right show. The show was predictable, storyline quite weak, villain is lousy, though this story is more about the imperfection of a superhero, reasons why he is the way he is and how he managed to become a well-loved hero.  It was neither here or there somehow, quite illogical when they say that as long as Hancock and Mary are near, their powers will start to diminish, yet I don’t see their powers diminish when they were fighting. However the flow of the music was matching well to the mood of the movie. It slowly builds up, and just by listening to the music, I can feel whatever feelings the director wanted to convey. The music is regal sounding.

Batman-The Dark Knight will be coming out soon and I’m excited! Its heath Ledger last legacy and the trailers I saw sent shivers up my spine. I believe this show will be excellent.

I seek a second opinion with regards to my power socket and Zixuan told me that I may have tripped the wires, which when I checked, he is right. Ahaha, now my hair dryer works and my power socket is not blown. Lesson learned, to always seek 2nd and 3rd opinion before making a decision. I can finally use my new hair dryer. Woohoo
